Site Registration – Official HWH Women Only Camping Trip – November 7-9, 2025 – Huntsville

Book your site for the Fall 2025 Houston Women’s Hiking Women Only Camping Trip at Huntsville State Park, November 7-9!!

 

Before booking, please read ALL the details below.

 

• Electric & Water Sites are available for arrival Friday, November 7 through departing Sunday, November 9. We did not pre-book any shelters this time as they are on the other side of the park.
  

 

• The person purchasing the site is considered the primary occupant. A site can house up to 8 people and two vehicles. If you choose to share your site with others please make sure to update the spreadsheet on Google Drive with your guests (access link through the event on our private Facebook). Extra vehicles might be subject to a $5 fee per day, per vehicle, which is paid directly to the park after arriving.

 

• All site sales are final. If you cannot attend and want to pass your site off to someone else, please post on the HWH Facebook group that you have a site and then work directly with the person you are transferring the site to. Once that is complete please update the spreadsheet on Google drive noting the change in registration and message an admin (access link through the event on our private Facebook).

 

• This price just covers your site fee. Once you arrive at the park you will have to pay a day use fee of $7 per person, per day. If you have a valid Texas State Park Pass, your day use fee is $0 for yourself and anyone who rides with you. Click here to learn more about State Park Passes.

 

• If you have a Texas State Park Pass, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PARK PASS NUMBER in the NOTES at checkout. The park is requesting this information.

 

• If you have a Texas State Park Pass and provide it when you arrive, Texas State Parks will refund us 1/2 of your second day fee of your campsite or shelter (about $10-$15). The refund will go into the Houston Women’s Hiking account to help pay for the pavilion rental, signs, or other costs.

 

• If you want to extend your trip and come up earlier or stay later, book your site here and then visit Huntsville State Park website and book your additional nights as a new reservation directly through their website. If you book two nights before or after our trip, with a valid State Park Pass, the half off the second day will apply to your new reservation.

 

• Reminder, pets are not allowed inside Cabins or Shelters, per park rules.

 

• Please read all park rules here. Please note, no public display of alcohol. All pets must be kept on a leash (even if they are off leash trained). Please observe quiet hours.

 

• After you check in with the park, please visit HWH Headquarters at site 53 to check in with our group, pick up your sign, check the event schedule, register for a door prize and get any important information. Before you leave, please stop by to return your sign.

  Sites are for tents and/or RVs. Drive lengths and maximum vehicle lengths vary from 15 to 60 feet.
